  1. Submit Your Bag Bring your bag into our Somerton Park boutique, arrange courier service, or submit a valuation request via our Trade In My Bag Request Form below.
     

  2. Assessment Our experts will inspect, authenticate, and assess the condition of your item.
     

  3. Offer If your item qualifies, we’ll provide a trade-in value to use towards a handbag clean or a handbag available for purchase at Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop .
     

  4. Trade Enjoy Apply your credit straight away and enjoy your newly refreshed or new-to-you handbag.


Terms Conditions

  • Acceptance of trade-ins is at the sole discretion of Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop .
     

  • Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop reserves the right to determine the trade-in value offered for your handbag.
     

  • Trade-in value is not redeemable for cash.
     

  • Trade-in credits may only be used:

    • Towards handbag cleaning or spa services, or

    • Towards the purchase of a handbag from Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop ’s collection.
       

  • Trade-in credits must be used at the time of transaction and cannot be held as store credit.
     

  • Once a trade-in has been finalised, the handbag becomes the property of Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop and cannot be returned.
     

  • By submitting your handbag, you confirm that you are the rightful owner and have the authority to trade it in.
     

  • Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop is not affiliated with any of the brands we sell; we are a certified reseller.

Frequently Asked Questions

What brands do you accept for trade-in?
We accept most luxury designer brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and more. If you are unsure, please submit your bag through ourTrade In My Bag Request Form and we will confirm if it is eligible.
 

How do I find out the trade-in value of my bag?
You can bring your handbag into our Somerton Park boutique, arrange courier service, or submit details and photos through our Trade In My Bag Request Form Once assessed, we will provide you with a trade-in offer.
 

Can I receive cash instead of store credit?
No, trade-in values are not redeemable for cash. They can only be applied to handbag cleaning services or towards another handbag from Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop .
 

Do I have to use my trade-in credit immediately?
Yes. Trade-in credits must be used at the time of transaction and cannot be saved for future use or held as store credit.
 

What happens if my bag is not accepted?
If your bag does not meet our criteria for trade-in, we will let you know. You may still choose to use our handbag cleaning and restoration services.
 

How long does the process take?
For in-store and courier submissions, trade-in assessments are usually completed within 2 5 business days. Online submissions via our Trade In My Bag Request Form are generally reviewed within 1 3 business days.
 

What condition does my bag need to be in?
We accept bags in a range of conditions, from gently used to well-loved, as long as they are authentic. However, the condition will affect the trade-in value offered.
 

Are you affiliated with the designer brands?
No. Luxury Bag and Jewelry Shop is not affiliated with any of the brands we sell or accept for trade-in. We are an independent, certified reseller and Entrupy-certified authenticators.
